Sweet Twists

A super simple recipe that you can customise to your taste and get your little ones involved too.


You'll need:

- thawed sheets of puff pastry

- spread of choice (jam, chocolate, etc).


Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Line baking sheet with baking paper.

  3. Cut 1 sheet of puff pastry in half length ways.

  4. Spread a layer of jam/chocolate/nut butter on one half of pastry all the way to the edges.

  5. Cover with other half of pastry.

  6. Cut pastry into strips.

  7. Twist strips into twirls.

  8. Bake until golden 12-15mins.


* Try a savoury version with pesto, tomato/pasta sauce or olive tapenade. You can also do a simple butter and minced garlic combo.

** Don't want twists? Try scrolls/snails instead.
